Bloomington Fire Department Ice Rescue Training

The Bloomington Fire Department held ice rescue training sessions at Williams Lake the weekend of February 28th and March 1st, 2015. Ice rescue training activities have been hosted at the lake for many years, a tradition originally started by the Williams family. The Bloomington Fire Department also uses the property for ongoing search-and-rescue training exercises, and the lake water is made available as a back-up water supply.

We are proud to share the lake with these dedicated volunteers who give their time and risk their lives for our community. Below are photos taken during the events.
