Williams Lake Project Named Regional Priority

NY-regionalEarlier this year, the Williams Lake Project was honored to have been named a Regional Priority Project for the Mid-Hudson region by the NYS Empire State Development Regional Economic Development Council. In 2011, Governor Cuomo created 10 regional councils in the state to “develop long-term strategic plans for economic growth for their regions.” The councils serve as “public-private partnerships made up of local experts and stakeholders from business, academia, local government and non-governmental organizations.”

Along with a number of other great organizations and for-profit projects in Ulster County, the Williams Lake Project was just awarded a significant grant toward our Phase 1 Demolition and Infrastructure Development.
